At the PMCM, we’re all about removing barriers to high-quality and affordable healthcare. Sometimes language barriers create challenges that affect a patient’s ability to effectively access the care they need.

Our use of Cross-Lingual Connect during the pilot program helped cut right through that particular challenge. The two main languages we needed assistance with were Spanish and Swahili. In every instance where a translator was needed, CLC helped address the language barrier in a timely and high-quality way. It’s so rewarding to be better equipped to care for someone in their native tongue. 

The system was very user friendly, and acccess to great interpreters occurs at a rapid speed.
